Interest Groups
CFUW Cornwall & District meets as a whole once each month to learn from speakers and hold business meetings, but many more club activities take place through our special interest groups, coordinated by club members. Join as many or as few interest groups as you choose or start a new one based on one of your interests.

Book Club
Our Book Club meets on the second Friday of every month at the Best Western Parkway in Cornwall.
Books are chosen in June for the following year and presented by members over lunch.
It's a challenging, stimulating, and appetizing time.
Gourment Group
Join us for a delicious culinary adventure where each team prepares a meal to share!
We rotate hosting at a member's home, allowing everyone to enjoy a variety of flavours and recipes. It's a great way to bond, share cooking tips, and savor each other's creations.
Let's come together for good food and great company!
Outdoor Group
This club meets weekly depending on weather. We participate in seasonal activities, weather permitting.
Excursion Group
This group had 2 informative trips to GFL in Moose Creek in June 2026 and September 2026.
The Glengarry Nor'westers & Loyalist Museum in Williamstown was visited in September followed by lunch at Cafe Butte and Bine.
Needle Arts Group
Our newest interest group for knitting, crochet, sewing, and/or quilting enthusiasts.
